Most nicotine pouch users had mouth lesions — but longer use didn’t make them worseA cross-sectional study of 42 male DZRT nicotine pouch users at King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia found that over half had oral mucosal lesions, but lesion severity was not significantly associated with how long they had been using pouches. The study was small and underpowered, and 80% of users had been using for under a year.
