ALP's biggest flavor launch yet: 3 limited-edition pouches

ALP — the Tucker Carlson-backed pouch brand owned by Turning Point Brands — has launched the Frontier Collection: three new limited-edition flavors (Cowboy Coffee, Campfire Cinnamon, Sunset Mango) in 4mg and 8mg strengths. The brand calls it its biggest release to date, backed by a Western-themed campaign with creator Dave "Heavy D" Sparks.

ALP — the nicotine pouch brand co-owned by Tucker Carlson's network and Turning Point Brands — has launched what it calls its "biggest and most anticipated release to date." The Frontier Collection dropped on August 18, 2026, bringing three new limited-edition flavors to the brand's direct-to-consumer platform.

The flavors are Cowboy Coffee, Campfire Cinnamon, and Sunset Mango. Each tin packs 15 pouches in 4mg and 8mg nicotine strengths — adding new options within ALP's existing 3–12mg portfolio. ALP says quantities are "strictly limited" and the three profiles were the most heavily requested in the brand's history.

What's in the collection

The three flavors are built around a Western theme that runs through the entire launch:

  • Cowboy Coffee — a rich roasted espresso flavor with what ALP describes as "velvety sweetness" and a "deep, indulgent profile."
  • Campfire Cinnamon — spiced cinnamon with a smooth finish, "balancing heat and sweetness."
  • Sunset Mango — sweet mango described as "sun-scorched" and "built for the open trail."

The 4mg and 8mg strengths sit at the lower-to-mid range of ALP's portfolio. The brand's existing line spans 3mg to 12mg across flavors including Drifters, Cool Frost, and Wintergreen. The Frontier Collection comes in 15-pouch tins — the same count as ALP's standard cans.

The collection is available exclusively through ALP's website, not through retail. That matches the direct-to-consumer model ALP has used since launch, which Turning Point Brands reported drove a 149% surge in modern oral gross revenue to $87 million in Q2 2026.

Why it matters

The Frontier Collection is more than a flavor drop. It signals how ALP and its parent company are positioning pouches as a lifestyle product — not just a nicotine delivery format.

The launch campaign, built around the theme "Tame Your Frontier," includes a short film produced with creator Dave "Heavy D" Sparks — known from the Discovery Channel's Diesel Brothers. The film features a live horse roundup, a Black Hawk helicopter, and cowboy Chance Gilliland. ALP has also lined up marketing partnerships across outdoor, rodeo, combat sports, and athletic communities, including a collaboration with Teton Ridge and the Arizona Ridge Riders.

That marketing spend is backed by real growth. Turning Point Brands' modern oral segment — which includes both ALP and FRE — now accounts for 48% of total company net sales, up from 26% a year earlier. Modern oral net sales rose 128% to $68.4 million in Q2 2026. The company raised its full-year modern oral guidance alongside those results.

The Frontier Collection also marks a shift toward limited-edition "drop" marketing in the pouch category — a playbook borrowed from sneaker and streetwear culture. It is TPB's second limited-drop in two weeks: FRE, TPB's other pouch brand, launched "FRE Labs" on August 12, a consumer-driven flavor platform with small-batch limited-edition releases where customers vote on which flavors join the permanent lineup.

What's next

The Frontier Collection is a US-only, direct-to-consumer release for now. ALP expanded into the UK and 11 European markets in July 2026, but the brand has not announced plans to bring limited-edition drops to international markets.

The bigger question is whether the limited-drop model sticks. If the Frontier Collection sells through quickly — as ALP's Drifters flavor did when it returned to stock earlier in August — expect more drops across both ALP and FRE. TPB is investing heavily in modern oral marketing, with SG&A expenses up 91% year over year in Q2 2026, largely reflecting that push.

For now, ALP's biggest launch is live — three flavors, a cowboy campaign, and a bet that pouches can be sold like hype drops.
