UK to wipe out nicotine pouch advertising from June 2027

From 1 June 2027, all advertising and sponsorship of nicotine pouches becomes illegal across the UK under the Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026 — covering social media, billboards, shop windows, and paid online ads. Nicotine pouches currently have zero advertising restrictions. A separate consultation on plain packaging and retail display restrictions closes on 2 October 2026.
